While the schoolchildren of the USA have the codes of the various states taught to them from an early age, there are many of us that have yet to learn these things, so the nh in the first post does not have the same significance to us.
Hey, at Least I know what TX, WA & MO mean so there's only 47 to go.

I looked on http://maps.expedia.com and it lists 20 Manchesters, even Manchester, California and some place in England.
