Whats wrong with the supercharger? If you want more boost, run a bigger pulley.

nothing is rong with the super charger
i just like the idea of stageable boost and a turbo wont make as much noise as the supercharger dose it wont take much to plumb a turbo up to it and if it is not as good i will swap it back curiosity killed the cat i dont want to die wondering

Why?

Life's too short to wait for a turbo to spool up.

i hav a gtir now and boost comes on at about 2800rpm. i no my mates old coup whitch had an a12 and it had a t28 wiych is standerd on the sr and his cut in at bourt 3400rpm. so the t28 should still boost but might hav bit more lag..

t28 would be pretty big for a 1500cc. They come on full boost in the high 2000's rpm on a 2 litre. i'd say go a t25 or t25g. the t25g can make up to 180rwkw on an sr so you'd blow up an a15 long before the turbo ran out of breath. should be able to pick one up in reasonable condition pretty cheap. the t25 has less flow capacity but would be a blast to drive around with as the lag would be almost non existant. these are good for 140rwkw at least so once again, you'd blow up an a15 long before the turbo ran out of juice.
t25 = ca18det
t25g = sr20det

i am guessing the t28 would be the best choice for an injected a15
