It's not just the engine, but the suspension to be able to support that power..... EXACTLY, for all out power FJ, or rotor, i would put the CA ahead of the SR, have to spend alot more on a SR than a CA, look at the quickest 4's, FJ's with auto's.

My gut feel would be high 10's for 10K might be doable....but low 10's?

There seems to be a quantum leap in cost to go from high to low 10's.

It's not just the engine, but the suspension to be able to support that power.....

I've heard of high 10's (like 10.9) CA18DET's that were build for 20K ish..

Nay sayer I may be...but I've been learning the hard way how much even a simple A14 half rebuild and engine conversion is going to cost.
