The guy offered me the truck, minus the wheels and battery for 800.00, so I'm gonna grab it. I'll post pics. I live in N.H. so any vintage Datsun is rare since they rusted so badly. The only rot I found on this one (so far) is in the front frame cross member. It does need a windshield. I'm sure that will be hard to come by. Thanks for the input.

i would be really careful mate, $2000 might seem reasonably cheap, but at the end of the day it is gonna cost you a heap of money to fix it up, ask for any receits he has and have a look around at the L320 market in your area.

I'm new to this site. I recently sold my 81 King cab, my daily driver is an 86 720 in real nice shape. An aquaintance has a 65 L320 for sale. I'm having a tough time finding a value for it. It's from Mississippi and has minimal rot. There is filler here and there, but it does seem complete. It does run. It has mag looking wheels that he says are OEM. He of course thinks it's worth a small fortune but is willing to let it go for 1950.00 I would like to have it but don't want to pay more than it's worth. Thanks for any info
