can you still buy the wheel hub and stub axles for them? The ones on the old struts are very rusty and I want them to be shiny and new

Unless Nissan still sell them over theiir spare parts counters you're out of luck. I stripped mine out of a wreck I bought. I degreased them, sanded and painted them, replaced the wheel bearings and they've been in the car ever since without a drama.

Unless the donor car has had a big hit there really shouldn't be any reason why the second hand ones wouldn't work perfectly.

the strut assembly shouldn't be that rusty as to be unsafe, there really might not be very many strut tubes left new.

just clean it up and paint it and get every replaceable part.

I just took one off my car after 25+ years it scarcely had any rust. maybe send it out and have it stripped and re powdercoated if you want.

I have been hunting all over the place for a set of brand new 120Y strut assemblys but have been told they do not exist and that the only option is to fit new strut inserts to an old strut body. I have tried looking for new parts for the strut and have only found springs, shock absorber cartridge inserts, disc rotors, caliper rebuild kits, ball joints and wheel bearings.
is there an available strut body replacement so I don't have to use the rusty ones available from wreckers? and is there a new wheel hub replacement? basically I am aiming for a new and reliable strut assembly
