Happy life.
That's when your kids are grown, you live on your own in a small house with a big garage. Retirement gives you all the time you want & wise investments finance your obsessions.
One or two single women in the district see it as their duty to fuss over you from time to time, clean up after you, feed you a hot meal, & stay over occasionally to ensure that your bed is being used properly.
That sounds like a happy life to me. Too bad it's just a dream.

Hmmm, I'm an old bloke but my lady loves motorsport, being a pillion on my bike and doing her own thing when i'm covered in grease We have both been around long enough to know life is too short to spend it jumping through someone elses hoops .... Find someone with some common interests and enough differences to keep it interesting
However ..... if you have children, enjoy them first ... they grow up too quick to waste it under a car !! Wow .. I am getting old !!
Cheers

Girlfriends/wifes with no hobbies are a pain. "How long will you be" blah blah..blah

..But some of us do have a problem with spending too much time on their Datto. I know I don't have time to satisfy most girl's definition of a 'relationship', so I'm not even bothering to promise time anymore.

Any friends with no hobbies can be a pain in the ass. I'll be under the car and get a call about nothing in particular..that annoys me too. I should turn off my phone when I'm working on the car. I really hate being disturbed in the middle of work.

6. It is important to have a woman who has hobbies and friends and who doesn't pine away the time just waiting for you to finish working on your car or return from a car event.

I agree, I have a GF like that, I used to have a pining GF - makes life unessecary painful.

All girls need independance, and their own hobbies. Dependancy is something for babies - not girlfriends.

My girlfriend doesn't even have hobbies, so finding a spare hour or two to work on the car is like finding gold.
PS. I dont find gold very often
