DELETE the letter 'B' for the US 1978 to '81 model 210, which is the advertised model designation. You need to look for that 'B' prefix.
The US model B210 [120Y] was followed by the 210 [B310/ Sunny] which still had the factory designation of B310 on the firewall ID plate.
If this is the best model name that US Datsun executives could come up with, then they all needed frontal lobotomies to help free up their minds. What were they thinking?

Because this is such an international club I am trying to train myself to write the factory model designation followed by the local model name in brackets, for example,... B310 [Sunny/ 210/ 120Y] as this car was sold under all three of these model names in various parts of the world. The B210 was also sold as [B210/ Sunny/ 120Y] The B110 was sold as the [Sunny/ Datsun 1200] & the B10 was sold as the [Sunny/ Datsun 1000]
These are just the names that I know of.
Confusing isn't it. The 'Bx10' factory designation, rather than the showroom model name, is the only one that is truly international & uniform.

OK, possible model mixup here. If it's a B210 then you will need to have a look at this site from time to time, & I recomend that you add one of these things to your toolbox. Very usefull, very cheap.

You will probably find that this will be a good site to visit from time to time as you can find interesting things there, like this thing or one of the most important tools you will ever buy for your Datsun.
A such a bargain price too. Highly recomended for all Datsun home maintainers, but be quick, they won't be around forever.

If you care to add some basic location details to your profile, we would know which country you are in, although I suspect that you're in the USA.
If you include which state, you will stand a better chance of geting more local help.

The B210 was sold from '74 to '77 & the US model 210 [AKA Sunny in Aust, 120Y in Barbedos & B310 globaly] was the '78 to '81 car. Does yours have round or rectangular headlights?

Welcome to the club, which is based in Portugal, with members all over the world.

Hi every body,
I was doing some research on a 77-79 B210 and stumbled upon this palce over and over. It was a huge help. I just picked up my 77 B210 D!!!!
This is the greatest car of all time. I got complimented by the clerk at autozone while reparing the coolant leak (first 10 min of ownership). I Love This Car!!

So i was wondering do you guys know a good place to order parts for this car other than auto zone? Also is there any aftermarket support for this car. I need the hook up you guys.
