For $800 I would expect him to pick up the car on a transporter, remove the old springs, custom make new ones, chrome plate them, do the same with the front, then give the car a wash & polish & deliver it home with a brass band parade.
Well perhaps that's overdoing it, he could leave out the polish.

$800 to just reset rear springs is really a bit rich though, so it might be an idea to get some more quotes.

Cost me $180 to have them flattend out with an extra leaf added. Taking them out and putting them in myself.

hey guys,
just wanting to know some advice for fixing my utes ride height... went to a guy and he said 800 bucks to reset the rear leaf springs... i was under the impression that it was a relatively cheap and quick job??? also he reckoned that reverse eye the leafs would make it a firmer ride than stock (after reading some old posts i thought that reverse eye leafs was the best lowering/quality/budget upgrade) however i really dont want it to ride any stiffer than it is now? any thoughts????
oh and not really keen on lowering blocks but only as a last alternative
