Hammer. Enough said. Just make sure diff is supported and hit them end to end. They have to come off even otherwise plates and U-bolts will bend.

Hopefully you had a jack under the car first to hold it up. If not, then be very thankfull that the plate has not come off as the car would drop to the ground on that side, with you under it.

Try soaking the relevant parts in penetrating oil for an hour or so, then refit the nuts a couple of turns to the 'U' bolts untill they are flush with the end of the thread.
Using a heavy but soft hammer, [copper] massage the ends of the 'U' bolts with it to see if it will loosen the parts. DO NOT belt the crap out of it as this could bend the 'U' bolts & you may need them later on.

have you tried convinciig them with a hammer ?? put the nuts back on the u-bolt, enough to protect the thread, then give them a few taps with a hammer ??

Every bolt was off, i tryed some crc and NOTHING. anyone have any clues to why i cant get the u bolts to slide off? My only thought is that they are just stuck on
