Ok, going from whats been written you have fuel pressure in the rail and there is fuel getting into the cylinders (plugs are wet) We still dont know what condition the fuel is arriving into the combustion chamber (atomised or dribble). The only way to find out is to pull the injectors and get em tested. But befor you do that are you actually getting SPARK. Could be possible that your ignighter modual (square box bit bigger that a pack of cards with alloy fins on it) is buggered. Also check EVERY wiring plug, connector and EARTH. Give em all a bloody good clean and make sure they go back together firmly. Good luck dude

Okay, sorry for not replying sooner but I have been unable to get on the bord with IE. I am now using firefox and I can login fine but IE just will not store my session.

I have tried as you suggested I put a pair of those plasctic clamps on the hose to restrict it on the fuel return line after the FPR. When doing this the fuel in line goes hard but she still wont fire. What does this indicate?

I was going to get a new FPR like this one but everyone has suggested to just get a gauge like posted her and use a stock FPR. I was looking at this one.

you need a multimeter to resistance for your tps, i run a similar gauge next to my plenum, to just to be sure.

it's the TPS throttle position sensor. read the manual and adjust it properly

Sounds like your injectors are dribbleing which would mostlikely be caused by the Pressure Regulator. Fuel is at a high pressure in the rail and when the injector opens fuel is forced into the intake as a very fine mist (atomised). If your pressure is low then instead of the fine mist you get a sloppy dribble which is very hard to ignight, that would explane the wet plugs. Try to block off the return line from the Regulator to build up pressure in the rail. From here you can determine if the reg is cactus or your fuel pump cannot supply enough pressure. There is also the possibility that the injectors needle and seats are worn causing fuel to conatantly flow into the intake. Hope this helps, Let me know how it turns out.

maybe it's your fuel regulator, i see you say that now FPR, can u get fuel pressure gauge to check pressure?

Hey everyone, I have converted to a CA18DET with a camira fuel pump.

My motor keeps flooding and wetting the plugs and will not start anymore. I have checked all the sensors and everything checks out okay so it is somewhere in the fuel system.

The main thing I notice is the fuel lines used to go hard when you started it indicating pressure but now they stay soft and the fuel just goes in the rail and back out.

Any one have any suggestions? I was told the injectors are stuffed but a few sparkys have said its something else.

Any ideas? Maybe the FPR is gone?
