I have a worked A12 motor in my weekender 120y coupe.
It has a lightened flywheel, bored out, flat top pistons, bigger valves, port & polished, shaved head, mild cam, electronic ignition, extractors & a 2 inch sports exhaust system, and a 32/36 weber.
IT PERFORMS VERY WELL

Nope, My ute has a 5spd. I think the cam is too big for it. Ive got the hang of driving it now but only really has power over 3 grand

if you go that far you'll definitley happy with the final out put remember tho it'll never be a tyre shredding burn out machine but set up right - engine, suspension and brakes, the lowly A12 can be a real fun one

cheers 4 that guys if i decide to go all out then i will also be adding
.msd blaster coil
.msd ignition controller
.flat top pistons over size pistons
.port and polish the head
.twin 40DCOE webers

but it all depends on how much money is left after all the body and interior are finished

Will liven it up a fair bit, you'd be suprised. As for figures i don't have a clue. Might pick up near 10hp?
