so what exactlly am i losing in my lowered 510..??i think only contact patch..

i dropped the car so low that the two bump stops touch each other..but think its good for weight transfer..and a stiff suspension for a stiff, solid lanch off the line...what u guys think??

Yes, you lose straightline traction when you lower a car with IRS.

There are camber correction kits that involve adjustable rear crossmember. They are available from Datsport In Adelaide Australia

They sell a Suspension Kit for the 510.

There shouldn't be power loss because of drivetrain angles, if anything, when you lower the 510 an inch or two, the angles should improve. But he camber angles will become a problem.

when droping a 510..will there be more power lost due to drivetrain angle..because now its harder to chirp 2nd & third..and 4rth ain't possible

The whole idea of camber is that when a racing car goes around a corner the body rolls away from the direction of the corner and only the edge of the tyre would have contact with the bitumen. But if you have camber, the whole tyre will have contact around the corner, depending on how much camber you have, but you wont be able to accelerate or brake as hard in a straight line due to the slight angle and therefore contact area loss.

i have just cuted the coils on the rear of my 510...i have already sloted the crossmember for extra camber adjustment...i set the camber to comprimise for being lowered..but the car just still cambers ..is there anything else i can do to set the camber normal...or is there a benifit for this camber other than the looks???
