Where should I start looking to find the correct torque settings for all of the bolts? I've got some 4into1 extractors on the car is it still possible to pull the head off with both of the manifolds in place?
Go to my Links page on the website - if you haven't bought a workshop manual yet - you can download the one I have on the website. I'd recommend buying one though for all of $10 of ebay. They have all the torque setting you'll need. Now you just need to buy a torque wrench...expensive.

Mildman dont sand your engine block again because you cant get it flat that way.
Sound like it's done a gasket dont worry they only cost $14.
Killer1200 - I didn't do that on a 'real' engine - it was just to clean it of rust to show what it was meant to look like. That was a throw away A12 block I used to train myself how to pull apart these engines and put them back together nicely.
Yes I agree don't sand your real engine block...bad things will happen, milkshakes may be made.
