i always thought that only the 120y had a borg warner.. and that all 1200 sedans had h145 diffs...

its true... you DO learn something new each day

Cool cheers for that ange,

Im sure aussie assembled 1200's use borgies, they are a non service diff so used in more agricultural countrys like australia.

For anyone wanting to make a quick buck these 1200 sedan autos sell like hotcakes if you clean them up. I bought one a couple of years ago for $800 and just cleaned it up with new carpet and a cut and polish and sold it for $2300 1 month later.
I'll try and upload photos in my members photos.

ive seen it... this is the 'particular' sedan i was discussing in my other thread.

it has minimal rust, but its not the straightest
1200 as suggested in the pictures..

all standard except seems to have a borgy style diff most probably a 120y item..

heres what i found

brakes arent working
has a massive water leak (spilt hose?)
heater doesnt work (heater core?)
driver seat is cactus (like sitting on the floor)
passenger side quarter window has no lock
bald tyres

the drivers door has been changed with an orange one... and only the exterior has been painted... so its orange on the inside and has orange paint showing through on the outside

would take a bit of TLC including a manual conversion before this sedan could replace my rolla as a daily runabout..

but the starting bid is still very inviting

Anyone else recognise the scenery behind the car???

Yep, it's centre road wreckers. I hate those guys!

There is the "Joe Dirt" guy and also the "jean Reno" guy.

When you walk out with an obscure part they ask "What is it" so you tell them. Then they ask "how badly do you need it?" and you do your best to hide that fact that you urgently need it otherwise they know you will pay more and will bump up the price!
