It actually takes two laps for the rear tyres to come up to temp...... you should see him throwing the rear end around on the warm up lap!

Benny..... Peter Street is certainly still running the Pulsar. I normally set-up with him on race weekends - great guy.

Great clip. It had me on the edge of my computer seat for the whole 9 minutes.

Hey just a quick question, If you have a road registered car, can you still go to tracks like that one and race, or do you need a roll cage and other stuff like that? Obviously not in proper races, but just to see what your car can do.

Cheers Mitchell

I first saw Daves starlet at Oran park [i think 4-5 years ago] it was extremely well built and was 'best presented' car that year.
Does anyone know if Peter Street is still campaigning in the ex works production pulsar.

Yeah....Dave actually set a new lap record in the final - 1:07.78. Not a bad effort from a naturally aspirated 1.9L FWD car!

He is actually quicker than nearly all of the Over 2L field - myself included

great video! Bob will be kicking himself! after surviving the onslaught for so long, to just throw it away on the last corner must really hurt...

this kind of stuff really makes me want to go circuit racing myself.

teretonga, dave Loftus drove a GTR last year, but due to the stupidly restrictive IPRA rules for LM turbo cars, the U2L Starlet is significantly faster

Great video!! That starlet sticks like .... to a blanket. The amount of ground he makes up across the top and through corners is amazing Good ending - even Bob couldn't deny the result - he was on the edge all race! Good and clean and as close as hell ....... gotta go do it 1:08 around Wakefield - the stuff dreams are made of .......
Cheers

No worries mate....pretty thick skin here ;)

Yeah.....the engines are a bit of a grenade....virtually need to be inspected after each race meeting.

Hey Mark.. that wasn't to be taken personally, we are all Sunny people.

As for Bob's engines..that sure is living on the edge when stuff starts falling out of the head..
