Ah, I forgot about the trans mount. Still interested. Just way down on the list of things to do.

I've got the yard all torn up, getting ready for concrete walks before the rains come.

i think lazyness comes after installing an L series, ive taken half my car apart and not taken any pics of it, might go take some now

this ones a 72, my partners is a 71 also has a 3 peice, my coupe was a 71 and that had a 1 peice??

Im a lazy prick and havent got pics of my mirrors yet, got a few more goodies too so might just wait after the weekend and post up some pics of it heading around the block on its second voyage as an L-series!

Sorry mate, i fixed my post to what you said!
My partners 1200 has a three peice as well.
Would be interesting to see what parts books show on this, whether they change from year to year, maybe the last ones are three peice. Nomore has mentioned that the rear end parts can be used on the front.

I have only one Datsun 1200 car, & that is my coupe.
Now that I know about the three piece type, I have noticed them on other cars as well.

Dodgeman reckons most 1200 front bumpers seem to be the two piece type, his coupe has a one piece front bumper. Must be different years, ive got a 1 peice off my coupe that im saving to have rechromed later on.

This weekend my car should have all brakes bled and will take it for a spin around the block, hopefully all will be ok.

lowrider, its got a modified crossmember to suit the L-series,
Maddat CA Gearbox crossmember,
Maddat adjustable lower arms with superpro bushes,
280zx struts with koni coilover sleeves,
Noltec strut tops,
Koni red inserts,
280zx calipers and vented discs with pintara wheel studs,
120y sway bar with noltec bushes, not in the car as im making different link rod setup.
Stanza radius rods bent 5
