ga16 engines use a 60 mm TB and it's working very nice on my A15. not injection, but it does use the TPS on the TB.

check those out it's for a 1'6 liter so it'll flow enough, and ga16 parts are cheap ;)

Remember that a 400hp CA18det will only use a 50-60mm single throttle body. Keep it in perspective..bigger is definitely not better

Remember that the CA18DET doesn't use engine vacuum and flows alot more air than a normally asperated engine. I will be going to FI next year using 40mm throttle bodys but my engine is a 1400. also note with FI you don't need the smaller chokes because you are not pulling fuel out of a carb it is being injected at a higher pressure

Thinking of a good set of DCOE weber chokes ..I would think that 4x 32-36mm throttle bodies would be fine.

32mm would be a more accurate measure for an A12.

Remember that a 400hp CA18det will only use a 50-60mm single throttle body. Keep it in perspective..bigger is definitely not better.

Johns engine had 50mm throttle bodies, and Jeff told me he thought it was to big for the street, it was really only suitable for race, where by the way it was making 200HP.

hey all im thinking if getting/making an injection setup...i have done a bit of searching and not quite sure on a few things...Im thinking of maby quad 50mm throttle boddies on a jts style injection manifold...will the 50mm throttle boddies give me enough air speed for some torque with jts stlye large port head? whats a rough price on a fairly new fuel only ecu? will it have to idle at 1000rpm+? will it be smother(the tech secion rekons it will be smother but is that only with stock injection or large injection? thats about it for now thanks in advance....
