If the flaring is done nice so that the guard looks stock but flared with the virtical lip remaining like normal, I would pay $300 a guard. But this means cutting and adding metal. Just flaring the guard lip outwards looks half arsed and only really looks ok if the wheel sits very close to it. I wouldnt pay more than $50 to just have the lip flared out. Personally I would find it hard to justify $50 to do it this way to all four guards. Better to buy flares.

i would reccomend getting them flared out by a panel beater or a suspension specialist who has a flaring device..

they roll and flare the guard at the same time giving it a good shape in 1 shot.. then all you have to do is repaint..

i got my fronts done for $50... they came out great and just needed a repaint... no bog.

I'm not sure how much you should pay (depends how good a job he will do), but l can tell you that l spent approx 8 hrs on each corner of my car (l'm no expert of course!!), without finish painting.

So for a good job, l'd say $300 a corner isn't too bad.

Just a tip in case you haven't already, but cut some guard away from the front lower section of the wheel arch to provide clearance during turning. Best to do it at this stage and make it look nice and neat.

I am going 2 get a quote 2 get my front guards flared, they are slightly damaged on the bit that will be flared so have given in and am getting it done. just after a rough estimate as to a half decent quote. i have been told around the 350 per guard mark. my dilemma is matchin the paint, so that will make it a lil more. also when i go 2 get it done is there anythin i need 2 talk 2 the guy about, like the strength of the guard, or any thin anybody recomends from previous experiences???. cheers
