I have fitted mine and it works great - have run on dirt and on tar - lots of fun. As with other posts the person who assembled my diff was impressed with the quality of the LSD centre.
I recommend them to anyone.

they're for the H165, i've got one, and got it in the ute housing ..... which is on the floor behind the sedan so close but oh soooo far

once these strut bars are done and gone i might get a chance to get it in then i'll let everyone know how they go but they certainly look the goods and the guy who put it all together for me was exremely impressed with the quality and workmanship

I was actually having a think about that straight cut gearset you made a while back but i'm still trying to figure out what direction to take some things with in my coupe.

It would mainly see tarmac rally, sprinting and hillclimbing duties and be powered by my project A15. Still haven't decided whether to use my vanette h190 rear end on my 120y. I wanted to also keep it just on (well not really )road registerable so would something that allows more versatility be the go?

Do you have any input on this?

You know, actualy I've been avoiding the diff thing a bit, and have been exploring every avenue other than fitting a different diff.

The car will be going for spray shortly, so I maybe I should spend the free time fixing a proper diff. I don't do the work myself, but having been a automotive machine sales/repair/installation man many moons ago, I know just about every engineering shop in the country, so it's not a problem to get something sorted out... Will keep you posted, thanks anyway...

The next problem would be to either get one imported from Aus, or trying to get Topgear to give me the drawings...*winkwink*

A wider diff is therefore not an option...

If you have the ability to manufacture a Torsen LSD from drawings, then surely you have the ability to narrow a rear axle housing, & to shorten the axle shafts. [The 'diff' of course remains unaltered]

will be too much for any type of h165 (stock ute diff) center

What is the H190 then? Will it handle the power, and from which car does it come.

Unfortunately I have a habit of doing things back to front and already bought a set of wheels and tyres for the car. A wider diff is therefore not an option...
