I'm running Yokohama 186/60 14 ES100's.

Cheap and quite sticky. Working well for autocross. Also, on a 1200 the sidewalls are so stiff you have to be carefull to monitor the air pressure. You can let all the air out and the sidewalls do not deflect as much as most tires fully inflated!

Car was handling strangly a couple of winters ago when hitting bumps. Only had 8 pounds of pressure in one of the fronts... Could not tell by looking.

195/65 R14's

Only rub when I have a passenger and wheels are at full lock. Front of the wheel arch on the front have been trimmed though.

I plan on running Yokohama 195/45-15 on my rims. They are 559mm diameter and 195mm wide.

A better 15inch solution would be to run 185/45-15 Nankangs. But these are not 'great quality' tyres.

These are the two smaller 15inch varieties I've found.

Going 14s means difficulty in get sport/street tyres.

Toyo do some:

Toyo Regular tyres

Bridgestone and Dunlop are Holden Commodore lovers, and don't deal in sporty 12-15inch anymore it seems.

I'm running a ute diff with 7 inch rims, and did some mods with a hammer to the inner wheel arch.

they where rubbing on the recess for the rear door. when i'm up it the wheel arch goes down past the tyre at the back. so thats why it was rubbing.
