SA Chassis are good for rust removal I've heard and quite reasonably priced too (haven't tried them myself though).

They're on South Road near the intersection of Richmond road.

The vents also join up to inside the body, you can move the vents by venting the tray sides underneath the vehicle.

A good panel beater should be able to make up the section to go in there matey, go to someone that knows how to do proper metal work, theres people out there who can copy panels from a sample so doing what you want is pretty easy.

Your cab wont vent properly if you do this, my mate did it with a 1600, couldnt stop the rear window from fogging up. Plus its one of those mods that is hard to reverse, keep the vents dude.
