hey piggy, do you remeber what mods were needed to fit the stanza brake lines to the sumi calipers?

or anyone else remeber?

im liking this as they clear 13 inch rims and also have better pad selection.

You have to machine out the centre bore of the disc ,then they fit behind the hub like the datsun discs , you have to drill new locating bolt holes ,but its all easy to do . e30 discs come in vented or solids.

pretty sure you actually bolt the dics on the same as the datsun ones are, behind the hub
and the bolt spacing in the hub for the discs to bolt onto should be 4x100, as yes E30s are 4x100

Just a query for you guys using these e30 discs, I had always thought that the e30's used a 4x100 stud pattern. Is this wrong or are you modifying your discs to suit the datsun pattern?

Iam using BMW e30 260mm vented discs with Wilwood 4 Spot Dynalite calipers and hawk Pads , this all Just fits inside a 13" rim ,i made up a dogbone bracket to fit to the jap 180b struts. This gives you the Lightest and the largest rotor with 4spot you can fit inside a 13" rim , Bmw rotors are around $170 a pair . Wilwood 4 spots are $230 each new and hawk pads $150 plus your dogbone bracket , Considering all parts are new ,its not a Bad deal for what you end up with .also using a wilwood adjustable brake bias valve
*all prices are Aust $$

I use the 280ZX struts with 280Zx calipers , I would go to the wilwoods in a hearbeat but they will have issues with them at vintage racing.............use Wilwoods on our single seater and they are very nice.

hey Jeff, yes I used this car at round 6 at Eastern Creek in 2005 just after I had my white one rolled. And the Willwoods on the car were the best brakes in a car Ive EVER used. The car has been sitting in the shop getting the SR20 all sorted, hopefully it will be ready to got by Xmas.
