I think the reason it is making my rim stick out a little is because of the mounting position at the top of the strut tower, Its the whole strut that is on the wrong side. LCAs every thing is new from DATSPORT so I would assume they have sent me the right bits but they have stuffed me around in the past so it could be a stuff up on thier end

Don't feel bad, Homer. My Datto has been getting a front end shimmy for the last week or so and after numerous inspections under the car, I couldn't figure out why.

On Saturday, I started noticing it making "clunking" sounds when I would hit very small bumps in the road. I finally noticed that the idler arm had NO bushings left on it at all! Both were completely worn away.

I am glad I finally figured it out, but I feel like an idiot for not finding it sooner.

Not many other reasons for this really.

It's more likely that the crossmember is off to one side (can make +-2degrees camber difference). Also likely that one of his guards is 'pushed in' making the wheel appear different offsets.

These are my guesses.

I reckon Tyrie's on the money there- check the length of your LCA's & bottom ball joints.

I put my head gasket on upside down on my A15 a few weeks ago, thats my blonde moment!
Thats weird about the calipers making your wheels sit out differently though never thought it could be possible

calipers wouldnt change anything?

if you have aftermarket front guards that could be whats making your front end 'appear' out of whack..

i know mine does
