So I use the cut down hilux diff and axels with hilux brakes and 120y pedal box and booster.I'd have to redrill the hilux hub to a four stud pattern . I've got stanza front discs. Sounds too easy.

they are the ones with a removable cover at the back of the diff, like falcons and commodores

in pretty sure they are the same size as the BW diff used in 200b's, i guess you could break it if you really wanted too
but it wont break anything without doing burnouts and such

and with the booster, seems as 120ys came standard with them, all you need is the pedal box from a boosted 120y and then drill the holes that are needed

Apparently if i use the hilux brakes then i also need a booster and if i use a booster then i need engineering (f1 i think its called). I'd be happy to use a 120y bw. How do i know one when i see it? So a 120y bw would be fine behind a 2 litre ?

why do the hilux brakes need a booster, brake pedal foot not strong enough

why not just go for a 120y borgwarner diff, L20bs arent that powerful, infact i think that they are just as strong as 200b diffs

Okay so the L20b out of a series 2 bluebird is in the 120y with 5 speed box. The 120y does not have a brake booster. So I have the stock 120y diff, a series 2 bluebird diff which can't be shortened and also a hilux diff and axels. If i use the hilux diff i can't run the hilux brakes without a booster (which requires engineering) if i use the hilux diff with the bluebird brakes i can't source a wheel bearing to match the axels to the bluebird (drum)brakes. I could probably shim the old 120y diff and lock it to make it a little stronger.
Any ideas??
Cheers Simon
