Ive heard they are there, still got to do this on my sedan, apparently they are connected and wrapped up in black tape.

true, but there is no dash loom to match these plugs in a sedan as they had no tacho from the factory, so it's not quite that simple.

That would explain why the plugs are male/female, to ensure correct polarity.

It's funny actually I was just figuring this one out myself this week.

If you are wiring it into a sedan (like me) you need to stick the tacho IN SERIES with the negative side of the coil. Ignore people telling you to put it in parallel. There should be 2 black with white tracer wires on the back of the tacho. THey are the signal wires.

What you essentially end up with is a wire that runs from the dizzy, through the tacho and down to the negative side of the coil. Also note that the tacho is polarised so you have to try both orientations of wiring through the tacho.

the coupe dash has a black wire looped around a nylon type block on the back of the dash.there are two other wires.HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!.which wires pulses the tacho.thanx terry.
