I have only ran out of fuel once... no it wasn't a datsun... it was an XD ute with a 250 2V out of an XA fairmont... the fuel gauge didn't work... and I misjudged the amount of fuel in the tank...

no I didn't sleep the night in the car either

I ran out once on this really skinny road when I was a learner. Mum freaked out cause there was no guard rail and a big drop there.
But Ive been past empty on the datsun and it still has about 5 litres in when i get to the pump. I guess its a good safety thing.

i never ran out of fuel, but my battery died yesterday ('91 TX5 non turbo), n i had the baby in the car..it died at like 12pm....it was hot he was whinging n i was over it! i locked the car, n my hubby picked us up n drove me home n so we started rubbing back my ute!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought running on empty on DVD last year from Supercheap Auto.


I've never run out of fuel, never really got below 1/2 tank
