use a big port U67 (i think) head off an L20b, these can be ported further than the other heads
then you just need the chambers welded up so its got some compression

or try to find a 200b with factory gas, and use the head off that

Well the L20b is finally in the car and goes okay. It's a daily driver for me but One day i hope to circuit race it and I'm looking for advice. The side draught 40s are way cool and seem to be able to suck extreme amounts of fuel.I'm looking at putting a L18 head ,a cam, valve springs, extractors and polish and port. Can anyone advise on exactly what cam to use and what characteristics the new cam would give? And should I use an L18 or L20 head Cheers Simon
