I belive the brakes on the 180 and the Silvia are the same - as long as both the 180 and Silvia are 2.0L turbos (SR20DET engine).

Check out this wiki link (a little brief) but indicates it's possible.

Well breaks will have to be the first thing to do I would rekon.

First check if it is leaking from calipers - they will have some 'bleed' screws on them which it might be leaking out of.

If you bleed the brakes and put new pads in and still it doesn't stop it is likely you will need to rebuild the calipers.

If that's the case you could probably just get upgraded ones.

I hear SR20 calipers can be bolted onto 120Y struts.....theres something to look into.

That is a good photo but the rest of the interior is falling appart with springs hanging out and the back coupe parcel shelf has collapsed and broken... i know it hasnt got much rust as we got rid of it from the bonnet but i now the brakes are useless i think its leaking from the calipers
