Yep.

You'll need a spot weld drill & a grinder.
If you know how to put a sheet metal grind on a normal drill, then do that.

For welding the panel back on, I used an Oxy-Acetelyene welder, but only because I didn't have access to a quality MIG welder.

BEWARE - If you're going for the aftermarket panels, they don't fit exactly right so some cutting & shutting maybe required.
I'm told this is because the company in Taiwan that sells the aftermarket panels brought the old stamping dies from Nissan & they're pretty worn.

Has anyone tried fitting new rear 1/4s to a 1200 ute?

Did you have any issues, can it be done at home or best to take it to a shop?
