If you could get your hands on a Master Power unit, get it. They are bomb proof... The Xcess and other no name brand ones seem to die to often when you give them hell.

They have a site also www.masterpower.com.br, their prices are very favorable, slightly more expensive than the generic ones, but far less than the better know ones.

I have seem both side of the story. 1st there is my mate with a 13b turbo. He has had 2 ebay xcess power turbos. both are great and the one he is still using makes 400hp at the wheels and he ran a 10.70 1/4.

on the other had another mate has had two and both have shi7 them selfs within a month. He just payed $2500 for a garret one.

so some are good and some are crap.

You get what you pay for the cheap ebay turbos are crap I heard of quite a few having failures. The new Garret Gt series are not that expensive depending on what size your after I would rather spend $1000 on a good quality turbo than $3-500 for crap and also maybe kill your engine at the same time.
