Vl turbo 28 spline diff only came in 3.45.
I have had a few and also have literature from holden stating this as a fact.
The only borgwarner ratios for vl's were 3.08 for v8's and 3.45 for rb30 six.
Any other ratios would have been swapped in at some stage.

Oh and im interested in the diff, Ill send you a pm

OK so standard VL is 3.45, VLT is 3.9? so VLT is exactly the same as R31 Sillhouette?

About 200-400 dollars according to forums. Labour plus shims to retension the springs.

But remember that a little 1200 will have a lower 'LSD break point' required when comparing to a heavy VL turbo. So a worn LSD in a commodore might be fine in a 1200. Get it installed, and rebuild it later if there is a problem with the LSD tension.

Hey guys

Diff needs to go, I will let it go cheap. PM for inspection. These diffs are mega strong and quite hard to come by.

Still a good item though. Worth getting at the right price.

VL Turbo should be a 3.9:1

Maybe the seller can pop the rear cover and rear the numbers off the crownwheel.

VL Turbo LSDs are normally fried. For obvious reasons.
