idle jets a little too small, and more likely accelerator pump jets blocked and or non-functional pump mechanism.

Get yourself a Gregories workshop manual. It will have a troubleshooting section & a clear description of how to fix things.
It'll pay for itself the first time you really use it.

hey guys. my carby seems blocked as when i put the foot down unless ive got a few revs it splutters. someone told me my carby is either blocked or has water in it. how hard to rebuild double barrel carbys.
