I was going to say it looked like a Z18t. Had the crossflow head but no EFI or turbo. Thats why i was stumped! Anyway, got that clear. Those headers look real nice. Would have taken
u quite a few days i can imagine. cya

Scott, I've had the Chickenhawk for almost ten years now but the rest have all been collected in the last few. I wish all of them were running so I could go out and have the choice of which
one I wanted to drive. The engine you refer to is a Z-20 out of a US 200SX. It has been bored .040" over, and has the most radical cam you can use without modifying the valvetrain (304
degrees duration, I can't remember the lift). The carb is a 38/38 Weber with synchronous butterflies. I built the header since nothing stock would fit. It pulls very hard but with the four
speed and rear end gears I have it starts to run out of legs at around 125mph (200kph). Is that conversion right? The five speed should help some. I've never run it at the drag strip so I
don't have any idea how fast it really is. Thanks for the interest. Tim

Hey nice collection!! I liked those flares, they suit the 1200 well. Been collecting em for a while i suspect?? Have u had others or is this just the current pile of 1200's?? I've had
7 so far and im only 20!! But only have 1 now :( I would be so happy if i could walk outside and have a choice of 5!! Also, what engine was that in the 3rd or 4th pic? It doesnt look
familiar.

Funny you should mention sharing the wealth. I have been toying with the idea of letting one or two go. Looking at the long shot of the outdoor cars, they are the very sad looking green
parts car on the far left and the orange one with a blue hood near the center. I'll add the closeups of those two. I'm also thinking of making some molds off of some nice fenders and hood
and producing reproduction fiberglass parts. Let me know if there is any interest in that scheme. I could also do carbon versions but the cost would be high for very little weight
savings.

That is fantastic to have so many 1200's. I just love it. I paid $20 for Mareo Speedwagon V. The guy was afraid of it, I just didn't tell him what was wrong with it. He told me to give him 20
bucks and I could have it. The power valve had come loose. A top gasket made it purr like a Datsun. I sold it two years later for $1100. I wish I had all of the seven 1200's that I have had.
All were unique and very different personalities. I couldn't get Mareo Speedwagon II to run very well. That was the reason that the guy got rid of it. I ran a compression check on it and
added octane boost and it ran like a scalded dog. It had the high compression head on it and regular octane only made it sputter. I kept the motor and installed an RX2 rotary in it and sold
it for $1500. A friend hit a dirt bamk head on in Mareo Speedwagon III. Both were coupes. Mareo IV was a sedan and I turned it over pulling into my driveway. Here in Good Old Knocksville,
Tennessee is mountains and the driveway was steep. It warped the body a bit so I scrapped it. If I had known then what I do now, I would have kept it and fixed it. When I got Mareo I, I gave
my sister-in-law's aunt a ride and she like my little car so she bought her one. I got it from her in December of 1991. That is Mareo Speedwagon VI. I hadn't seen another one at all until
about a month ago, I got Mareo Speedwagon VII from Peter Zekert in St. Louis. I haven't done anything to it at all yet. It is in exellent condition to restore. I will keep it pretty stock as
it is now. Love the 1200's, best engineered car in the world for the money.

Hey, I just posted some pictures of my cars. Check them out under dimlight's cars. I have more closeups of the other cars but didn't want to use up too
much space. Enjoy!
