I'll get a tri-bar, but I'm not sure in strut tower-firewall distance is the same for 1200s and 120Ys?

boofhead, yes the end plates are different, i'm not getting the holes laser cut, i'll drill them using a jig i made after. The upstands i'm making are up a bit higher so a straight bar clears the ca in my car, i have to test it to see if it will clear other motors. If not i have access to a bender, so should be able to make them work with most combos.

i looked at doing them for 1600's when i did mine but you need to make up 2 different end plates as the strut top bolt orientation is rotated 180deg between the 1200/120ys and the 1600
edit : also if you can spin the bar when it's in place are you looking at using a straight bar between the towers ?? cos there'll be clearance problems over the CA's SR's and Aseries with big air filter assemblies ...

Im making up 15 sets, to suit 1200, 120y, 1600. Price im not sure yet, still waiting on a price for machining of the ally rod. They are having left and right threded rose joints, so that they can be set without un-bolting.
