Quote: I don't know the finer details on suck through, but on Blow through. The brass one collapses under boost (squashes flat) What was I thinking? You are right BigD, use the plastic NOT the brass! It was late and I was umm tired. Also I used to use a 32/36 DGV weber and remove the choke shafts and butterflys to reduce the restriction. I would just use the choke cable to pull the idle up to warm it up.

yea ive always used the black plastic ones, ive always used webbers from unleaded falcons as there the same bolt/hat pattern, bigger throttles and have a vent from carby lid to float bowl for boost reference and have the black floats. Hope that makes sense. Also scour the wreckers and find an lpg hat to use, makes it easier if you have the bonnet clearance, heaps of gas xfs around!

I don't know the finer details on suck through, but on Blow through. The brass one collapses under boost (squashes flat) Like a coke can. crushes

Maybe the 32/36 webbers are different, but with the 350 Holley Blow through set-up you remove the brass float and fit the black plastic one. The brass one collapses under boost (squashes flat) where the plastic one does the trick. There is some places that produce ready made webbers fitted with all the gaskets, floats etc so you can slap it on.
The bonus with suck through is you don't need a intercooler or a high pressure fuel pump. i preffer blow through but its a personal thing, go with what you know, some preffer coops or sedans others utes.

Quote: In a draw through the carby is operating normally at atmospheric pressure, you dont have to worry about ,boxing, seals, air leaks, and pulling the box open everytime you want to make an adjustment. Also with a draw thru, you can use a standard fuel pump. With a Blow through, you need to run a fuel pump set up similar to EFI with a rising rate fuel regulater. Ie:Malpassi.
