i would think anything that makes more air go under the car is bad at speed, the idea is to have all the air go over and push the car down.
i would think the floatyness in turning could be soved with a wee bit of left foot breaking, but it's really not good. I wouldn't drive anything at speed if it felt like that. As is our highway allows me to take the datsun out and open it up to about 80% and not even be speeding, adding the front airdam was such a good thing, the current setup feels real stable at 150 kph.
hehe isn't that fun... for some reason you can go at least 105 kph all across the country. often much faster. Yes an A15 can do it too... At 115 kph or faster easily.
I've noticed something else re: airflow... I have a big hole in the boot of my car, about 3ftx2ft and it's covered with a piece of cardboard, strapped down, if i'm going faster than 100 kph, and have the windows down much air starts to come in from outside from the back... yeah i know that's not a good thing, what sorts of things can be done to make more downforce? having a bigger cavity where the fuel tank was would allow the airflow to slow down and pull the back down more? what about airdams and such for the rear, or do i want to make the rear more open?

Fat and low, with the rear just a little higher, may be an inch or 2. Wish mine looked like that, not STOCK height As for that reverse rake I and testify that it is quite dangerous, in my old XB sedan (Rest In Piece, baby) had a saggy ass and at about 160 - 180 the steering would become very light, enough to nearly miss a bend in the road and soil a good set on undies

Rake it forward fot the right attitude. When the tail is down it looks like you have a half a dozen bags of cement in the back. It's a bad look IMO.
Having a forward rake acts in the same way as an air dam as it minimises the area under the front where air get in, & maximises the area at the back for air to get out, thereby reducing underfloor pressure at speed & increasing safety. Reverse rake reverses this phenomenon & decreases safety at speed.

i need smaller wheels to have any hope of lowering the back more. I have lowering springs but it sits high still, probably because it's light in the back.
that's what i figured a lebbo was.
Just the back... interesting. here when you see that it's usually because the back of the car is filled with something very heavy.

yeah i think PM would be best way of explaining EDIT..or not
on a 1200 it looks lower at the back even when the front is lower, mine is tucking half the tyre on the back (195 50 15s) and the front still has clearance between the top of the tyre and the guard....yet the front sits about 10mm lower

A greasy person (often from lebanon) who cruises around with big chrome rims and the back of their car dragging on the ground. edit: no offense to greasy people
