Yeah. It's hard.

I use a piece of bent copper pipe (..yeah I know about galvanic corrosion..). It goes around the back of the heater box, so both inlet/outlet goes through the firewall on the drivers side.

If you have space for a heaterhose behind the head, you won't have space for a front mount intercooler or thicker radiator (for when you choose to race it). It's a decision that has to be made.

hey bud you can get a stanles steel spring that can go on the inside or the out side of your heater/raditor hose and you can bend it and it will say in what ever sape you want so then you can just use a length of heater hose and just bend it where ever you want it any good auto shop will sell them thats what i did had the same problem hope this helps you out bud

Any opinions on the following idea.

Would it be suitable to bend the required shaped heater hose out of copper and then attach it to the motor and the heater box with a 80mm section of hose.

Would this allow for enough movement?

Hope fully someone can same me some time searching through all the heater hoses at the local auto shop.

What hose or combinations (cut and join) are suitable to adapt the CA18DET outlets to the heater box im my 1200 Coupe.

Dont want to do it with the plastic elbows and a handful of clamps as this looks crap.

Any sudjestions appreciated.
