We get cars done this way at work.
its is way better than sand blasting if you just want to remover paint.

but it doesn't remove rust totaly.

we just had a Vy clubsport done, someone had put brake fluid all over it.

it came up great,we pulled the bars, lights and door handels out they just taped up the windows and stuff.

the metal was smove as, unlike sand blasting where its all pited.

Soda blasting is the new 'sandblasting'.

Sand Blasting was made illegal in recent times, and others used crushed nut shells.

This new Soda blasting uses Baking Soda (The stuff you leave in the fridge to get rid of food smells).

It can apparently be used to strip the paint from around a door (layer at a time), without removing the windows.

Yes its pretty cool. It does not harm chrome or glass from my understanding. Do a google search.
Tons of info there.
