1000s just had a rubber U shape hose, joining to a metal one that exits at the bottom of the block! No emmison controls here!

Best thing to do if you have a after market carby/airfilter setup is get a oil catch can and plum that one and the other crank breather into it!

Should connect to your air filter before the carby.
The standard 1200 air filter has a connection on the underside.

On my A15 valve cover there is a hose that attaches to vent and it just drops under the car.

Is that correct?

What should be there, just a hose venting out into the atmosphere?

It's one of the things the PO did on my car I guess when he put this engine in it. I've never had an A15 before so I don't know what should be / shouldn't be on it.

Thanks!
