Yea, I did think about those plumbers tape (that very thin strand of white rubbery tape you put around the thread before putting it in) but a friend told me that it cannot take very high heat.

Just a thought you could also wrap it with some plumbers tape and then cover it in loctite it might also help the seal as well.

It never rains but it pours.

I bought the 1400 Nissan Pulsar thermo fan switch this morning. I am going to make a T piece pipe that it will screw into the T part.
Well, I went to a nut and bolt shop to buy a nut that would be welded onto the side of the pipe thus making a T piece. Can you believe it, None of the nuts are the correct thread. The closest one has about 1 to 2 mm play when inserted into the nut.
I went to the engineering shop so that they then can create a T piece pipe and thread the T for the sensor. The closest they will be able to thread it for me is with a 0.5mm play in the thread. Is this still ok?
I mailed kulula and he suggested I put alot of loctite on the sensor's thread before putting it in to help with the sealing part. The sensor has a O-ring at the top that will also help with sealing when bolting it in.
