Z22 hey....feel like pulling the crank out and sending it over to me

its a navara or 720 engine in australia, dont know what vehicles it would be used in in your part of the world

the crank is good for stroking L20b's
or you just find an L series head and whack it on giving you an L22b

it is a Z22

what is this thing? i would like all the info available on it if you guys and gals could help me it would be awesomely appreciated!!!

as to the question, my dad is a kiwi, i am in canada and have dual citizenship! dad, used to go with his friend to rally car races and help navigate once in a while!

engine numer is between the 2 sets of exhaust ports on the block....should be Z18###### or Z20#######

it does not have a valve cover like a a15...I know that much lol i don't have a camera but if i saw some pics of some engines people may think it is, i will be able to id it.....also how do i tell by the numbers what it is? it is carbureted i know that as well, the head is aluminium

also where are numbers located? did i find the wrong ones?

Sounds like a Z18 or Z20.

just picked up an engine out of friends grand dads shed, it is a 4 cylinder engine, with a NISSAN Z valve cover, has 4 spark plus on the intake side of the head and 4 more on the exhaust side.....i found these numbers on the block...placed exactly as follows
