Cheers fellas. I have found that being a young bloke also doesn't help much. Older salesman say one quote over the phone and then it turns into something else when you arrive, or the part has been mysteriously sold in the ten minutes that I took to get there.....
Will try the part numbers and/or the 1200 cylinders.

New ones are bugger all
If you ask for the right thing

1000 front cylinders have part # JB2013 2014 2015 2016

1200 front cylinders are the same but have different part numbers

1200 ones are cheaper

Sometimes...and this isn't all the time... you need to remove the brass olive to get the banjo bolt in. But thats a simple task with a self tapping screw and a pair of pliers to wiggle it out

Yeah thats the problem TnPshow, the cylinder nuts are completely rusted. The previous owner has had a go at them and the bleed nipples. All the nuts are pretty much ground down to a circle, they've been vice-gripped to all buggary. I might have a good go at them but it's going to get messy.
By a 'pair' I mean one front side, well it's $45 per cylinder from Power Brakes and I'd assume another $6-8 for cups and bits.
I'm after the front left cylinders, so if you've got a spare that'd be real helpful.
Regards Chris

I got some rebuilt by ECBS in Edwardstown for $15 each.

Take your old ones to the fella there and see what he can do with them.

By a pair you mean one side? Which side? I might have some laying about that arent ceased, but need a rebuild.

Righto,
I'm chasing a pair of front brake cylinders for a 1000 4dr (69'). I managed to get ahold of a backing plate, (my current set up is completely rusted- can't even bleed). A new pair will cost almost a hundred dollars and I simply do not have that sort of cash for such a part. So if anyone has a pair they are willing to part with (those who have done the conversion!) that would be much appreciated.
Regards Chris
