My Bakkie is still like new, so a bit weiry of wanting to open the head etc, its a 2003 model.
Plus the wife will be using it too, so dont want her to hurt herself now
But u'd neva know, if the moneys there, the sky's the limit....Oh,BTW,I got married in DEC,,,,,

Another thing, the mags and tires i put on, gives the bakkie damn excellent road holdin.
Put on 15'with 195 yokohama tyres.....NICE GRIP FOR SURE.

Hmmmmm, fuel economy.Gotta love the fuel efficient A14.
PM Clive on this site.He is a student in Pretoria and also has a 1400 bakkie with some mods. Had a small setback a few weeks back by some burglars (gotta love South Africa ) but might be able to show you to the right people. His mods are:
GX cylinder head.
branch+freeflow (don't know the make)
40 Sidedraft webers.
Gives alot of people a hiding.
But I would suggest only branches and freeflow and if you can get a GX cylinder head.Fit that also to bump up compression and give you more torque.
I have a scrapyard's telephone number in Durban that have more than one.

Will like to put on SU's GXMAN, but will wait a while, dont wanna change carbs etc as yet, just decided to change the air intake system, to a preformance filter, and also, later branches........But You'll neva know, if i come across a leka SU complete at a good price, i mite just take it

Must tell u tho, been a while since I drove a small car, especially being used the Sani i have still, but Im getting used to it, and feels great, weaving in traffic, and having a quick take off power from robo's, expecially the fuel economy.

Hi Reeves
Hope you still remember me.
Glad you are still here. The other day I was thinking of you and how long it was since I saw you on this site.
Congrats on the bakkie you bought.
Well, I still have my GX and if you look in my profile you will see I made some small mods to it.

Welcome back and keep on posting.
See if you can find some Su's there in Jo'burg. Good fuel economy and good power upgrade to the standard carb.

try uploading the pic to a site like image shack, it won't work from your local computer.

PS, welcome back
