the reason i made a thread about my ute from the start was to get people tips and advice - yours included - as i see it all as constructive criticism. so that is why. i didn't have to join up on the site, i didn't have to start a thread about my build but i did as to gain tips and advice as to how to handle different aspects of the build as i am not knowledgeable about datsuns.

oh and one more thing please refrain from calling me 'lovie' or any other pet name you decide as i hate things like that even luke has no pet names for me as i dislike them. Thank you

You're right Steve, normally I'd be on your side over this, but as you stated my wife is involved. Whether I agree with her or not (her chosen words may be a bit harsh) I have to back her up, she would do the same for me.

And as for getting over myself, mate I'm far from righteous. I in fact hope I'm far from important enough for you to be concerned about, as I hate the endless disagreements that can arise on this site.
