Good work coops. Getting it registered is the biggest hurdle. Now for the sake of your marraige, you need to set 'exit criteria' for the project.

Mine is still not finished.

I'm still waiting for the feeling....I think I decided to do a CA18DE conversion in 2003, kinda morphed into a CA18DET and in a different car - probably still a few months from the end! I'm waiting for that feeling of joy and relief when the CA18DET first fires up!

i remember that feeling, the first legal drive in your 1200 with converted engine that you did yourself!

gives you a similar feeling to the first time you start your new engine

My project has been going for 14months and its in the final stages now, was meant to be off the road for 3months and return as a daily driver not a racecar.
