200b ones are 2 inches shorter from factory but need the 1200 spring pearches welded on. otherwise identical to stanza.

you will need lower control arms etc... happy reading

I have stanza struts in my coupe and have not cut them down as yet. Appears to be OK.

When shopping for stanza struts there are two brake types used. During production nissan used the australian made girlock caliper and also a japanese caliper.

Personally I would get struts with the girlock calipers. These were also used on other cars (eg) toyota corona. So pads and spare calipers are easy to obtain.

Good luck

If you do the Stanza strut swap, check for old posts because I did the same (into a 73 coupe) and had to shorten the struts to get it to ride nicely (like WhiteSedan said). The specs I used are written up here somewhere.

I'd go find it but I'm too busy playing that aeroplane game .

What do you intend to do with the car?

Read the tech section as ange has said, stanza struts are not ideal, unless you rally and need substantial ride height, you will find you'll have the thing bottoming out all over the place.

The struts you'll have to get from a wrecker. They should come with brakes already on the strut. Why do you want to upgrade to stanza struts?

There is a part in there about stanza strut/brake upgrade. Do you have to do the brake upgrade aswell? Or can you only do the struts?

Cheers

What do I require to put the stanza struts into a 1200 Coupe?
Can I just go into local auto shop and buy a set of stanza struts and springs and thats all that is required?

Cheers
