Yep, same part numbers. I was just looking at some. Was quoted $196 for a new one too which I though was slightly high. Found my facet pump too, rated at 35 Gallons/hour which is around 2208 ccs/min I think. So this should be fine for the lifter. I'm only planning on running slightly bigger injectors (something in the 400s) so this should work.

Now just need the supply pump, hopefully Mildman can get me that cheap Bosch otherwise it's VL.

apparantly the VL turbo/VL pumps have the same part numbers (same thing). Might save the "turbo uleh" premium.
My fj20 turbo had vl pumps for lift and engine.

Arent bosch 040 and 044 the same thing, just 040 is intank?

This guy cracks me up. Maybe the mods can limit him to the off-topic section so he can't come in and offer more inaccurate advice?

I assume the psycho means an Bosch 044 fuel pump, which is what I'm planning to use in my conversion.

I talked about it a bit in this thread.http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=28320&forum=1#162626

If your keen on a Bosch pump, I might be able to get you one cheap - pm me if your interested.

Even better because I already have a facet type pump in the garage doing nothing. Those are the tiny little pumps that make a loud clicking noise all the time right?

Hmmm, this means that I will have VL in my Datto though........

if u want a cheap good pump anything external from a efi turbo car is good vl turbo cordia turbo etc. as long as the engine is bigger capacity than urs and a good lift pump is a facet brand pump cheap and work fine.

Hey all,
Can probably tell but I'm in the middle of a CA18 swap so will probably have lots of annoying questions over the next few weeks so my apologies in advance. I'm up to putting in a surge tank and lines. I have a coupe so don't want to go the R31 tank option (don't want to cut the boot) which is why I'm going with the surge tank.

I don't know anything about electronic fuel pumps so could any of the people that have already done this mod let me know what they used and how it went?.. The only suggestions I found in old threads were Holley Red for the lifter and Holley Blue for the High Pressure.... but they're kinda expensive.

Cheers.
