ok. after changing to another stanza strut i had lying around i found that it wasnt the strut at all. it turns out the passenger front guard was not as flared as the drivers. which is kinda annoying cos it wasnt enough to notice and made the swap point less. but at least it was a simple problem :P
thanks for the help and ideas from everyone tho :)

Peace

This might be a dumb question, but are they both Stanza struts. Are they a matching set.
Are you using gas or sealed oil inserts, if so did they slide into the tubes easily, or bind on the way in, if they did you may have a bent strut.

if theyre still oil filled inserts, it will take a bit for them to settle right in (taking it for a short drive will fix this)

Did you change anything else except the struts e.g. Lower control arms, steering rods?

nah they arent adjustable just dont know why they are so different. Just thought that because the tops can spin maybe it adjusted the camber.
can drive it for a while yet. it is far from complete :(

do you have adjustable camber plates?

if so changing the orientation of the top will change your castor more than anything..

have you taken it for a drive to let it all settle in?
