I have a third A12 motor in storage that I'll pull the flywheel & compare that to the others. the one with the recess is at least 1/2 the weight of the one off the A14, thats what made me think its been milled down.

They both definitely came off A series motors, it'd be nice to know diameters of stock flywheels for A12's & 14's if anybody knows.

What motor is standard for an F10?

I had an F10 once, I have no idea what the flywheel looked like though. Would it have been a smaller diameter?

Would the previous guy have used it on this motor for weigh savings or some such? My plan had been to bench run this motor & I needed to put a started on it so I pulled the flywheel for an A14 I had to get the cover/protector plate to swap onto the A12 & then took this flywheel off the A12 & I found the differences then.

It even looked like someone had previously milled the bolt heads down, they had a very shallow head on them, approx. 3/16" high.

My problem with uploading was simple - too big! I posted them at 640 x 480 & up they went just fine.

I'm wondering how all these strings end up with photo's posted in them. Can you attach or upload when your starting a new post?

The one where the clutch sits inside the flywheel is from a front-wheel-drive car, probably a 76-77 Datsun F-10 (E10) or a 78-82 Datsun 310 (N10)

I thought they were all the same diameter. Could one be from the B-210 with 5-speed? It used a larger transmission & clutch.
