Yeah that's how they made it... thought I was going crazy when I first bought my ute. I ended up rewiring the switch to act like normal. It only took a simple modification so I did it to my wife's ute too when she had it.

one click, parkers and low beam
one click with high beam doover, just parkers
2 clicks, low beam and parkers
2 clicks with high beam, high beam and parkers

Spent today completing and testing the loom in my ca18 1200 coupe. Decided to test all the features of the existing 1200 loom to ensure it all works.

All good but confused about the headlamp switch.

You pull it out one click - The park lights come on and the low beam head lights. If the high/low beam switch on the steering column is in high beam position the headlamps are off.

Go to the second click - Park lights are on and headlamps. Can switch between high and low beam on steering column.

Is this correct ???
